Fiber Felting, Wet, Project

Felting is a technique used to mesh fibers together, usually making some sort of sheet of felted material for multiple purposes. The fundamental principle of wet felting uses water, soap, and agitation to enable the fibers to mesh together. Examples of felted objects will be displayed and discussed, emphasizing techniques used to create the items. Students will felt a small coaster shaped object that they can take home from the class.
Class is portable.
